A common issue with indoor air quality is improper installation of ductwork. The end of a duct is known as a boot, which sometimes isn't secured properly. This can leave spaces between the boot and the drywall or flooring, depending on the vent location. These spaces draw air from the wall, floor, or ceiling cavity and push it into your living space. With this cavity air, comes a wide variety of irritants like construction dust, fiberglass insulation, and more. This is something we fix as part of our HVAC air duct cleaning process.
